Drawings

I began making these drawings for “Drawing Parallels” over a year ago. Now the last research workshops have finished I can finally show them.

During each workshop, participants were introduced to the same 10 specimens, first in the form of drawings, then as photographs then finally they engaged with the actual specimens. At each stage they were given the opportunity to discuss and write their thoughts as well as engage with the photos and then the specimens through artistic encounters.

These are the drawings they all saw as their first ‘meeting’ with the specimens.
